PP Herbert says that during the time he was President, there were approximately 75 members, and that their main project was the raising of $8,000 to sponsor Boy Scouts on Guam. In addition during this Rotary year, the club entered a very impressive float in the Liberation Day parade. With a large Rotary wheel as the background, the float featured children wearing costumes of the different nationalities comprising the Rotary world to depict the international character of Rotary. Incidentally PP Herb says this float won second prize.
